| The voices are there but they are all garbled. How do I fix this? |

This normally happens if you install the US version 1.2 update over a game that is US version 1.2 on the CD. There are some very slight differences in the sound files between the two which cause this problem to occur. If your game us US version 1.2 on the CD then you only need to install the US version 1.4 update from the Downloads page.
To get your game back to how it should be, first make a copy of your savegames. Next uninstall the game completely and reinstall it. Finally, apply the 1.4 update and copy your savegames back into the game folder. Don't forget to also reinstall any scripts you were using.
The voices should now be back to normal!
