How do I make money through capturing?

Sell the ships you capture at any shipyard. Remove anything of value, particularly shields and lasers as these are worth the most. Sell them to an equipment dock as the shipyard only pays about 50% of the value of fitted equipment. Get a TL class ship. These can dock a small number of ships and can be kept nearby to minimize the risks of another ship attacking your recent capture. You can also transfer most equipment from captured ships to the TL. When full simply jump to the nearest shipyard and order all docked ships to land there.
