Firstly, you need to have enabled the script editor.
With the script editor enabled, you can open it with [CTRL-C, s]. This will show the list of available scripts.
Select the script that you would like to run by using the up/down cursor keys to scroll to the script.
Then press [r], and confirm the following queries with Enter or an input value. The first value is the object to run the script on (e.g. your ship) - usually this should not be NULL. The remaining arguments will depend on the script you're running. When you enter the final argument the script will be run.
